here is a perfect example of pairing already owned (ao) shorts with a newer piece.  i think it's ok to pair big wide stripes with plaid like this as long as you stay in the same color family!  boy2 picked out the shorts and it was a chillier spring day.  as I was flipping through his long sleeve tees -- BAM!  this tee jumped off the hanger at me.  I love when an outfit JUMPS out at me and it works!

PHEW!  We finally have the warm weather we've all been wishing for this spring!  We had to get out on the golf course!  I love pairing a color block top with a solid on the bottom (boy1, pretty safe) but then I also love  pulling together a solid top and solid bottom with fun shoes (boy2)!  Both looks can be achieved with any of the tops/bottoms hanging in your messy, stinky boy closet! ;-)

acorn cords AKA: khakis

It's been hard to get the boys into their spring clothes...we actually had snow flurries Monday.   We should be warming up this week!!  So excited to put some great spring looks together!  Be daring & creative when you put 'khakis" on your boys -- whether it be cords, chinos or shorts!
